I might be late to the party but CrocO’deal Coffee in Divonne-les-Bains is such a fab child-friendly haven that I can’t resist blogging about it…better late than ever is what I say! If you haven’t been yet, make sure you pop round for a cup of coffee or one of their upcoming activities such as creative workshops, story-time in French, Bébé gym, Zumba or dance classes.
Owner Jennifer Letellier opened CrocO’deal Coffee in July 2013: her dream was to offer local families a concept store for ages 0 to 16 where they could sell their second-hand kids clothes, equipment, toys as well as enjoy some quality time with their little ones and – why not – meet other local mums over a cup of coffee & cupcakes. The play area at the back of the store was also ideal for birthday parties and fun classes for mums & children.
CrocO’deal Coffee is just opposite the Karishma Lounge restaurant in Divonne-les-Bains (walk into the inner court off the Grande Rue at number 76). You can sell your second-hand children’s clothes, toys and equipment here as well: if they sell during the 2 months period that they’re on display in the shop, you will receive 50% of the sale price.
CrocO’deal Coffee offers a series of workshops and activities during the French & Swiss school holidays, here’s a brief list but contact Jennifer if you have any questions. Activities & workshops are in French, the price is 3 Euros for morning workshops and 6 euros for the afternoon ones.
