The 9th edition of “PâKOMUZé” is back this year to keep us & our little munchkins entertained during the Easter holidays. This fantastic initiative for children & families will take place from the 12th to the 27th of April 2014 across 32 museums in Lausanne, Pully, Yverdon-les-Bains and the Vaud Riviera.
The objective of PâKOMUZé” (phonetic transcription of ‘Pâques au Musée’) is to offer a selection of great kids activities ranging from police forensic workshops for 10 to 12 year-olds at the UNIL Lausanne to Easter chocolate workshops at the Alimentarium and “Princesses & Knights Tours” at the Musée historique de Lausanne
Most activities require previous booking, so make sure you reserve your places when registrations open on Tuesday 1st of April 2014 at 12.30pm.
All you have to do in order to book your place is click on Activités avec inscription, find the date and activity that you find most interesting, then click on the activity’s link for full details on how to make your “réservation”.
“PâKOMUZé” will also offer a series of activities that require no previous booking and are mostly free of charge, you can click here to see the full list arranged by date.
What about a free “Safari botanique” (from age 6) at the Musée et jardins botaniques cantonaux in Lausanne? Or a “Jurassic Pâques” workshop making your own dinosaur’s chocolate eggs (10CHF per child)?
There are over 200 activities planned and they all sound like great fun. Unfortunately, I can’t list them all here, so make sure you visit the PâKOMUZé official website to download the full programme and find out which ones your children will enjoy more.
Have a great Easter break & eat as much choccies as you can…I know we will!
